  17. WannaBe uses the same search plug-in format that is used by
  18. Apple's Sherlock application.  Therefore, the same plug-ins can
  19. be used for both applications.  <strong>However, you do NOT need
  20. to have the Sherlock application or a newer version of MacOS
  21. to use the plug-ins.  As long as WannaBe works, the plug-ins
  22. should too.</strong>

  26. At the time of this writing, the most
  27. recent version of WannaBe (1.0a27), does not automatically scan for 
  28. plug-ins.  To use one, you must choose "Search Using Plug-in..."
  29. from the "Go" menu, then use the standard dialog to find and open
  30. the plug-in you wish to use.

  34. I'm still working on implementing support for the HTTP POST method.
  35. If a plug-in/search site uses this method, the plug-in will not work with
  36. WannaBe.
